As the teenage boy and his older brother sat in the sun, the world spun around, Your smile like a mask, but I saw what I found. Behind those bright eyes, shadows quietly lay, Though laughter you offered felt distant today. “Come walk by the river,” I gently proposed, A place where your heart could unburden its load. With each tender step, let the waters confide, In a silence so deep where our secrets can slide. You spoke of the struggle that clung to your mind, Yet words danced in circles, unready to find The courage of voicing what anchored your soul, For healing is heavy but makes us more whole. Three weeks at the center to light up your path, To shatter reflections that drown in their wrath. I hope you'll discover the joy in your play, And find in that laughter your spirit’s ballet. So let go of pretense, let rivers run free, In friendship and faith, there's no need to flee. Fear not if you stumble, let tears wash away, For under these clouds lays a brighter day. Watercolour.
Two brothers, a teenage boy and his older brother, sit beside a calm river with reflections of the sky and trees. The older brother, on the right, faces the younger, who is on the left and looks up and to the right. The younger brother has light brown, tousled hair and is wearing a light blue, hooded long-sleeved shirt with a white t-shirt underneath. The older brother has shorter, darker hair and is wearing a dark green, hooded long-sleeved shirt. Both appear to be in deep thought, possibly contemplative or listening. In the foreground, grass and some rocks line the riverbank. The background features grassy hills and a serene sky with soft, diffuse clouds, illuminated by a gentle, warm light, suggesting either sunrise or sunset. Across the image, an inspirational poem is overlaid in a handwritten-style font.
