In the misty night, under the moon's bright light,
A zombie father and his zombie son took flight,
Their arms stretched out, their moans filled the air,
As they wandered through the world without a care.
The father taught his son the ways of the dead,
And how to find their way to the next thread,
He showed him how to shamble, how to lurch,
And how to make the living tremble in fear and search.
The son learned quickly and followed in his dad's stride,
As they roamed through the countryside,
Together they searched for the next brain to feast,
And enjoyed the flesh of the living like a festive feast.
But deep down inside, the father knew,
That one day his son would find a life anew,
A life where he'd be free from the curse of the dead,
And live a life where love and hope abound instead.
So he taught his son the value of life and love,
And how to cherish the gifts from above,
For in the end, no matter how we live or die,
It's the love we share that truly makes us thrive.
