In Joshua Chapter 22, we find,
A misunderstanding of a kind,
The tribes of Israel, on the west and east,
Seemed to be headed for conflict, at the very least.
The eastern tribes built an altar high,
Which caused the other tribes to pry,
Assuming it was for idolatrous ways,
They gathered to confront, with anxious gaze.
But before a battle could commence,
The eastern tribes spoke with defense,
Explaining that the altar built,
Was not for sacrifice, or guilt.
But rather, it stood as a sign,
Of their unity, a holy shrine,
A reminder of their faith in God,
A bond that no conflict could ever mar.
The misunderstanding was resolved,
With unity and peace absolved,
They praised the Lord, with thankful hearts,
And vowed to never be torn apart.
In Joshua Chapter 22, we see,
The power of communication, so key,
To resolve misunderstandings, and strife,
With open hearts and a unified life.
So let us learn, from their story told,
To communicate with love, and be bold,
To seek unity, amidst challenges faced,
And let God's grace, in us be traced.
