Lives you save will not ever know you name.

A thank you on behalf of those that will never get a chance.

They will not know your tireless fight, exposures to toxic winds, the grief of delivering news to the next of kin. Life a precious thing, yours changed forever. Many lost their homes, some lost it all. In honor of those that have fallen, those who never made it out.

This fight is a long haul. Yet let us not forget Industries that have had large hands in creating conditions. They stack the tinder up high but never light the match. They wish to turn their backs on those left holding the bag. They wish to protect their profits at the cost of doing what is right.

May we remember them when it comes time to rebuild. May they be brought into the light when it comes time to making things right. For the burden is great, and the toll is wicked.

The ashen glow above a starless night, may you rest well even though there is no end in sight. May the winds stand down, may the stamina find its pace. May others show you the love you deserve. May you have the luck to make it out alive.

Thank you will never be enough, for what you have done. Saving the lives of others, running toward the column of flames.

May you find a rest, I am grateful for your heroics. Even though only the gods, your brothers, and sisters, will ever know truly know.
