More about The Silk Merchant

Purrsephone visits the silk merchant, Antonius Sericus whose shop is just down the road. Antonius Sericus, according to what the neighbors tell her, sells the finest silk in Antonesia. He is also know as an upstanding and honest citizen. No one seems to have anything bad to say about him. Purrsephone finds him in his shop, tending to his customers and managing his business. When he hears why she has come, he is eager to help any way he can.
“The smith's name was Solipugo Ferrus,” he informs her. “He was an exquisite blacksmith, his work was always of the finest quality, which is why he was chosen as royal blacksmith. But his character could be – difficult at times. He cared little for contact with others and limited his interactions to business dealings. Three days after Lord Laverno's treachery was made public, I went to his smithy to order some repairs, but there was no one there. I knocked, as I always did, but there was no answer. I could also not hear any sounds from inside the smithy, so I decided to open the door and peak inside. Everything was gone! It was eerie.”
“Do you know where he could have gone?” Purrsephone wants to know.
Antonius Sericus thinks for a moment. “He did mention once that he owned a cottage in the mountains,” he then says. “I think it was somewhere on the flanks of Mount Anthill.”
