I hear in the Aztec night birds flying overhead,
Flying far away & leaving me alone,
Alone in the Aztec night,
Disowned in the Aztec night.
My destination is unclear,
Each day I ride around I read magazines & books,
However, never buy a thing
From the big store, Aztec moon.
I'm going to catch a train
To take me far away,
Far away, where I will live alone.
But never be alone, Aztec moon.
I will climb every mountain
Every one before me placed & I will climb up to the stars.
For to the stars I'm not disgraced, Aztec moon.
