More about Little Girl in the Window Poem

In a house upon the hill,
Stood a window small and still,
Where a little girl would gaze,
Through the glass, lost in a daze.
With eyes as bright as morning sun,
Her innocence, second to none,
She'd watch the world passing by,
With a wistful, curious eye.
She'd see the birds take flight,
And dream of soaring to great height,
She'd watch the flowers bloom,
And wish to chase away the gloom.
Her little heart filled with wonder,
As she pondered, oh so tender,
What lay beyond her little view,
And all the adventures she could pursue.
But she was trapped behind the glass,
Unable to step on the grass,
Her tiny hand would touch the pane,
But freedom seemed to be in vain.
Her laughter, like a silver bell,
Rang out from her window cell,
Her dreams, her hopes, so pure and bright,
Her spirit yearning for the light.
Days turned to weeks, weeks to years,
Still she remained, held back by fears,
Her world confined to the window's frame,
Longing for a life beyond the same.
Yet, she never lost her zest,
Her heart still beating in her chest,
With eyes that shone with endless grace,
And a smile that lit up her tiny space.
One day, a hand reached out to her,
A loving touch, so kind and pure,
A heart that saw her from afar,
And broke the window's cold, hard bar.
With a gentle hand, she was set free,
Her spirit soaring wild and free,
She ran into the open air,
Breathing in the world so rare.
The little girl in the window,
No longer bound by the glass's glow,
Her dreams and wishes now came true,
As she explored the world anew.
With joy in her heart, she danced and played,
Embracing life in every shade,
Her laughter echoing through the air,
A symbol of hope so bright and rare.
So remember the little girl so sweet,
Whose tale of courage can't be beat,
Her story a reminder true,
To chase your dreams, and break through.
