Prompt

**Chapter 44 – The Wizard Who Came Before the First – Part 2 – The Room That Remembered Before the Cottage** **REFERENCE IMAGES — use them in this order:** 1. **CR-01a – Mara:** preserve her exact established adult appearance, golden-blond hair, green tunic, dark trousers and brown boots. 2. **CR-17 – Liora:** preserve her exact established appearance and smaller stature. 3. **CR-15 – The Vanished Wizard:** preserve his exact established appearance, long silver-grey hair, short white-grey beard, dark embroidered robe, brown boots and twisted wooden staff. 4. **CR-16 – The First Wizard:** preserve his exact established appearance — shoulder-length silver-grey hair, full grey beard, strong older face, dark grey-black robe with silver embroidered trim, brown boots, leather satchel, three small glowing bottles at his belt and distinctive tall twisted wooden staff. Create a **4:3 realistic painterly storybook fantasy illustration** with soft cinematic volumetric lighting. Inside the old wooden Cottage, a previously hidden rectangular opening has appeared in the wooden floor. Several floorboards have lifted aside, revealing a narrow staircase descending beneath the Cottage into a mysterious lower chamber. Mara kneels beside the opening, studying it. Liora kneels beside Mara and holds her **small silver key above the keyhole near the opening**, but she has not inserted it. Keep Liora clearly smaller than adult Mara and standing or kneeling on the same floor plane. Behind them stands the **Vanished Wizard**, holding his established twisted wooden staff and staring down at the opening with troubled recognition. On the opposite side stands the **First Wizard exactly as shown in CR-16**. Preserve his full beard, embroidered robe, leather satchel, three glowing bottles and distinctive staff. He raises one open hand toward Liora in a clear gesture asking her to wait. The two Wizards must remain visually distinct and faithful to their separate reference images. Do not blend their faces, robes, staffs or accessories. A faint cool silver glow rises from the hidden staircase. Deep below, only darkness and a suggestion of another old wooden room can be seen. The atmosphere is mysterious and ancient rather than threatening. Near Mara lies **Lumio, the small smartphone**, its illuminated screen clearly showing: **THIRD RECORD — FOUND** Keep the composition focused on **Mara, Liora, the Vanished Wizard, the First Wizard and the hidden staircase**. Do not add unrelated background people. Exactly **one Mara, one Liora, one Vanished Wizard and one First Wizard**. No duplicate characters, no additional people, no animals. No side text, captions or speech bubbles except the required words on Lumio’s screen. Bottom-right corner: small white full-body unicorn watermark with the text **“AI by Unicorngraphics”**. .

Chapter 44 The Wizard Who Came Before the First Part 2 The Room That Remembered Before the Cottage
“To build a room that could remember what everyone else had forgotten.” The First Wizard looked down. Beneath their feet came a knock. Someone was knocking from underneath the floor. Liora stared at the boards. “There is a door below us.” “There was,” said the First Wizard. “Until my apprentice sealed it.” The vanished wizard shook his head. “I remember none of this.” “You were not supposed to.” Another knock sounded. The floorboards between Mara and Liora trembled. Nails rose from the wood one after another, as though invisible fingers were removing them. A narrow rectangular outline appeared. At its center was a keyhole. Liora knelt and raised the silver key. “Don’t,” said the First Wizard. “Why?” “Because that key opens the record in which you were found. What lies beneath us is the record in which you were lost.” A third knock came from below. Then a child’s voice whispered through the boards. “Mara?” Liora went completely still. The voice knocked again. “You promised you would come back.” Mara stared at the girl beside her. “Is that you?” Liora shook her head. “Not either of me.” Lumio’s screen flashed. THIRD RECORD — FOUND. Linora stepped closer. “We just restored two versions of Liora.” “Those were two lives,” said Memoris. “This may be something different.” “A memory?” Mara asked. The First Wizard shook his head. “A record that was never allowed to become a life.” The child beneath them called again. “Mara?” Liora placed her palm against the floor. “She knows you.” Mara knelt beside her. “Apparently every impossible person in this house knows me.” Sir Fegelot leaned against Madam Arabica. “It saves introductions.” “For once,” said the teapot, “be quiet.” The First Wizard pointed at the silver key. “Put it away.” Liora obeyed. “Then how do we open it?” Mara asked. “We don’t.” “That has not worked particularly well for us so far.” The vanished wizard stared at the outline. “I sealed it. I should be able to open it.” “You cannot.” “Why?” The First Wizard lifted his half of the wooden circle. “Because you sealed it before you became the man standing here.” The vanished wizard looked at his own half. “Then join them.” “No.” “You said they restore my memory.” “They restore all of it.” For the first time, fear entered the First Wizard’s voice. Mara noticed. “What did he do?” “He made a choice.” “We have had enough of those,” Linora muttered. “Not between people. Between remembering and continuing.” The child beneath the floor began humming. Liora’s face changed. “I know that song.” Mara looked at her. “From which life?” “Neither.” Lumio displayed: MEMORY WITHOUT SOURCE. Then: AGE OF RECORD — BEFORE COTTAGE. Biblior crouched beside the opening. “How can Liora exist in a record older than the Cottage?” “She doesn’t,” said the First Wizard. “Not yet.” Mara groaned. “There it is again.”
