Here comes the sun.
Could I accept grace of warmth across my face? All those lonely winters.
Ice builds upon the ladder. I am not one to fold, nor bluff because I can.
Some scars come with the choice. Feeling something for a time is far better than the apathetic cold.
Cancelling is only a fear born from those that have been chosen, those who have experienced applause.
Acceptance is required for cancelling to mean a loss.
Here comes the sun.
It's alright.
Babylon's price paid by wanting the best of what's made.
Nostalgia has a sharp edge, so does ignoring a slow and steady drift.
Materialism is often a blindfold that falls slowly upon our eyes.
Confusing your identity, losing each truth behind those lies.
Opportunity undermines pretending, timing sometimes a curse, sometimes a blessing.
Here comes the sun.
And I say.
I invite what comes.
May I accept warmth when it crosses my face.
May I receive the rain when it falls my way.
These beautiful colors in broken clouds.
I see the shadows dull.
Here comes the sun.
Here comes the warmth,
May it bring a thaw,
May it bring what the rain could not.
I feel alright.
It's alright.
I have no pride in my insights.
No shame in my scars.
Could there be love?
For this life of mine?
