ArtistWe consume the Earth while the Earth consumes us, I felt the rush. As if avoiding trouble would ever be my style. My muse lost and found, paid the tyrant with my fools gold crown. Surprise couldn't find me. Seen this move before in a movie. Almost got a reprieve from the serpent wrapped around my family tree, only to see him stealing another apple to Eve. My wish to end this contraction, agape in reaction. I saw what happens when shelter is spared for the living. Paradise just around the bend? Gliding around in these colorful clouds sure beats falling down (no words no letters)
Curious to say. Messages never made it my way.
Now I see.
Cruel men playing our fate.
Believe me, trouble is like water.
And if I had to do it over?
I would have chosen the same, time and time again.
My only wish the troublesome had not blind me.
A cost born when you're enjoying a life of possibilities.
Since messages need not be lost by the sea.
Undaunted I'm on my way. In humility, know.
Even if you offered, I wouldn't accept an apology.
Now I am gliding down, another form, reborn.
May folks think first, and treat you well. I hope you're truly happy after all.
I'm not. Too close to the starting mark, plotting to take that carrot above my brow.
