A probe from the thick disk enters our system.
Among the many peculiarities of 3I ATLAS is the thermal regulation. Although if given speculation around the Wow! signal is accurate we face a evolutionary fork. Given these radio-frequency pulses are real, our space agencies going dark regarding information sharing. We face a threat of inner fear.
Given the limited evidence, and reaction to it. We can reasonably presume there is no more argument to weather this is contact. There is no argument to weather we are the most advanced civilization present in our solar system.
We are not.
The dark forest theory clearly made up by someone who has spent little time in a forest.
Two things:
1. If a creature attacks you in the forest it is due to your intrusion. You should always be prepared for such an event. Although also know that this only happens due to ignorance, desperation, and / or fear.
2. The most dangerous thing in a forest is another person.
Animals don't thrill kill often it is with limited exception. Any attack that comes from bears, or perhaps a wolf is out of desperation or fear that you're coming to harm pups or cubs. Those are easily also very human traits.
Woodland animals are more experienced with humans than your average human is experienced with woodland animals. Unfortunately many humans mean these animals harm. Also many humans are ignorant of the woods as they happen into them. Allowing for a person to pose a threat haplessly.
What 3I Atlas means:
Immense planning has gone into this contact. Meaning our existence has been known since our origin.
Given the nature of 2I, and 1I there has been effort to limit hysteria of our population. This connotes understanding of our collective social proclivities.
Like any other encounter in the forest hostility will be met with hostility. This encounter has been designed with no ability for our fear to be exercised with hostile actions.
Just like any forest there are hostile actions, there is danger. The way you handle this is you are prepared by doing the inner work that is required. This inner work must be done in order to wield your fear as a guide, not a ruler.
This contact is a trial balloon a probe of our society.
So it becomes a collective question.
Will we become a good steward of our world, and take a seat in federation of civilizations? Will we become insular allow fear to rule us? Will we commit to the hubris of the adjudication of our problems with war not words?
Let us not be a civilization that others in the woods fear contact with. Let us not succumb to collective fear.
