With reverence, in that holy place.
The priests, Aaron and his kin,
Anointed by God, cleansed from sin.
Their duties defined, their tasks assigned,
A lineage set, a calling divined.
To offer sacrifices, to intercede,
For God's people, their every need.
A blessing and a burden, a sacred role,
A privilege, a consecrated goal.
Numbers Chapter 18, a decree so grand,
God's design for the priestly band.
A lineage of service, a heritage to hold,
With reverence and awe, as they uphold.
