Exodus 32, a cautionary tale,
Of Israel's faith that did derail,
With impatience brewing, they did yearn,
For a god to worship, a quick concern.
A golden calf, they did create,
A false idol, an unholy state,
They danced and worshipped with false delight,
Lost in the darkness, devoid of light.
Moses pleaded, his heart in pain,
To turn from sin and worship in vain,
But their hearts were hardened, led astray,
In Exodus 32, a dire display.
God's wrath was kindled, a judgment stern,
For idolatry, a lesson to learn,
The consequences of a faith misplaced,
In Exodus 32, a warning traced.
So let us heed the lesson told,
To keep our faith steadfast and bold,
And never fall for deceit's allure,
In Exodus 32, a caution pure.
