A masterpiece in the genre of abstract, mystical fantasy. Executed in an impasto technique using a transparent, liquid-glass-like medium in various hues. The fun-filled horror of Halloween.
An oil painting with heavy impasto strokes depicts a Halloween scene. In the center, a large, glowing jack-o'-lantern with an angry expression dominates the composition, surrounded by smaller carved pumpkins with lit candles inside. To the right, a dark, gothic haunted house with glowing windows stands against an orange sky. Several bats fly in front of a full moon in the upper left corner, while a witch on a broomstick soars through the sky. A skull and more jack-o'-lanterns are in the foreground, with several ghosts and a skeletal hand emerging from the ground on the left. The thick, textured paint strokes create a sense of movement and depth, with vibrant oranges, yellows, blues, and blacks creating a dramatic, spooky atmosphere.
