Polly Parkinton was the name of the news android invented to ultimately cut costs for the media corporation news bureau. But Polly kept building a mind and a will of their own as time went along -- to the point where Polly began making their own decisions regarding who was a threat to the stations (and their) success. Polly decided they better 'take out' one of the remaining humans threatening to their ratings points. Unfortunately, Polly had a fatal glitch when planting an explosive device where they thought their competition would be sunbathing. And it might have worked if a groundskeeper hadn't moved the deck chairs around on the (pun intended) Titanic -- so when Polly detonated the explosive device rather than their competition going up....well, you get the idea...BOOM!!!
