ArtistResume Yes, we have two fathers. One gave us being, the other gave us form. One is the goal, the other is the path. One is light, the other is shadow, in which light recognizes itself. And our vocation is to lead them to unity in themselves.
A black and white, dramatic, low-angle shot captures the silhouettes of a man and a child walking side-by-side down a dappled path in a dense forest. They are seen from behind, walking away from the viewer. The man, taller and broader, wears a long coat, his silhouette dominating the frame on the right. The smaller child, to his left, is dressed in a suit with a jacket and pants. Their hands appear to be joined, suggesting a parent-child relationship.
The path they walk on is uneven and covered with fallen leaves and debris, illuminated by strong backlighting that creates a bright halo around their heads and upper bodies. This light source, possibly the sun, glows intensely from behind them, casting long, dramatic shadows of the trees and the figures themselves onto the path in front of them.
The forest on either side of the path is dark and shadowy, with the intricate network of tree branches and leaves visible against the lighter sky in the background. The trees on the left have more visible foliage, while those on the right are sparser, revealing more of their trunks. The overall mood of the image is mysterious and contemplative, emphasizing the journey and the bond between the two figures.
