Artist((Masterpiece)) A Japanese American Shin-Nisei woman reads an article that she is in the 1.4% of American families that are mixed race Japanese since 1970. She approaches a hospital worker who tells her that she doesn't believe her. She tells her you aren't her daughter. There is an elderly Japanese women who appears different than her mixed race daughter. And the woman at the intake refuses her ID. There is no proof, but these are some of the hurdles that cause harm in the family and emotional psychological distress. There are no translators. She's made phone calls every year searching for a translators and every year there is no one available who is affordable. The hospital blames her because they do not want to help with language assistance. Reality of modern 2026 in America.
They told me, I'm not her daughter. Simply because I'm mixed race and speak English. So how many letters do I need to write to the hospital?? Or do I need to report the hospital for hate incidents?? And then will they retaliate on us? Things have been pretty bad in America. But it's unbelievably gotten worse not better.
