ArtistIn a lush marsh setting, a Japanese-American woman stands under the shade, gazing at the birds she has rescued. The scene captures a Green Heron, Northern Gannet, and Osprey in their natural habitat. The woman is depicted wearing a hoodie with the words "bird rescuer" emblazoned on the back. The artwork is reminiscent of the styles of Turner and Audubon, blending a realistic portrayal of nature with a touch of artistic interpretation. Inspired by the work of bird sanctuary volunteer and painter Ernest Simmons, the image exudes a sense of dedication to wildlife conservation and admiration for avian beauty. Rich earthy tones, intricate details of feathers and foliage, soft natural lighting filtering through the trees, a sense of tranquility and purpose in the woman's expression, meticulous brushwork to capture the textures of the marshland, a harmonious blend of realism and artistic flair, high resolution for intricate details, a tribute to the beauty of nature and the human connection to the avian world.
A Bird Rescuer
Thanks to all the Bird Rescuers and Sanctuaries out there.
Perhaps not always about diversity in people, yet preserving diversity in nature. Even if only for 6 months of weekends in a lifetime. Fast enough to pursue an injured endangered species. Auric enough to help them. It's one of the heartwarming moments-- even though heartbreak and sadness impacted continuing. Keep love in your heart and keep going, yet know when to quit or recruit help.
