Dramatic orange evening sky with clouds. A bustling city far away at the skyline near bottom of scene. City shrouded in thick luminous fog but still visible. Very large black disc in the sky which dominates the whole scene. Disc is not horizontally aligned but vertically aligned, and faces the viewer. Disc has strange bright flaming patterns at its circumference. Disc is covered in several bands of strange glowing symbols which form concentric circles around the center.
An attempt to come up with an 'alternative' version of a cover design for a novel by contemporary novelist W A Harbinson.
