Love grows within my soul. Steady, slow an oak sown with light shows through, cold dark nights don't cast blight. Not to impress, no foolhardy show. Just steady, roots meeting soil. Life's drama finds me too. I know there is no hiding. I make mistakes, to be free is to be wrong too.

I seek no queen of diamonds, no fame sought, no boost needed, nor nudge, only to make 1 whole. I only seek company, freedom from this lonely. 1 who could dispel this plane.

I wish; to grow with another, to know romantic love, to be a father, to uplift women, to grow side by side.

While I have worked hard I have little to show for it, strong arms, stories of near misses, and long odds.

I wish; to forge lasting bonds, never stop growing, honor others in their struggle, to know how, and wish not to leave her now.

I know there will come a day when my queen of hearts shall be at my side. I will get to know her struggles. I will be able to build her up when well meaning folks ask more of her than she is able to give. I know she will continue to give, even then, and I know it will not be wrong. I know I must provide her the harbor she seeks. I know I must allow her to mend even when the nights are long, and bleak.

While I know I ask a lot, there is much I couldn't ever know. I ask for two more wishes to make us whole.

I wish to capture the magic of building projects together in a world bent on tearing beautiful things apart.

I wish to know her company, the push the pull, allowing an organic friendship to grow from the start.

Twelve wishes I cast upon the worlds.

While the best things in life are free, money, cash isn't the only currency. There is an economy of expectations built around the magic that makes you, you. Know you couldn't bear to let others down. This makes it difficult to ever have someone meet you eye to eye. I don't wish to place this burden on you, no matter your path in life. The last wish I leave for thee, although if I had a choice it would be a friendship built on trust, and honesty.

I move through this life upon a path that makes me feel right. I must get back to work, in hopes of making the world a bit less cold. I wonder if others will feel this hope, this warmth that comes from the soul.
