Inspired by Aífe's example, I composed a song that I trust you will enjoy. As the lyrics are my own, I encourage you to listen to it at your convenience and share it, but please refrain from using it for commercial gain.

SOMEDAY
Sunlight dappled, leaves of green,
a gentle breeze, a peaceful scene.
She walked the path, a graceful sway, lost in thoughts of yesterday.
Then laughter bright cut through the air, a playground buzz, beyond compare.
Little faces, full of glee,
climbing high on the monkey tree.
A tiny hand reached for the sky,
a mother's smile, standing by.
Swinging high, a joyful sound, happiness blooming all around.
A shiver ran right through her core,
a longing she'd ignored before.
Her heart ached with a silent plea,
a wish to join that family.
Someday I'll be a mom, I know it for sure,
Holding a child, behind a closed door.
These feelings inside, they grow and they yearn,
Someday I'll be a mom, a lesson to learn.
She watched them chase, with boundless might,
bathed in golden afternoon light.
The simple joys, the sweet embrace,
a longing etched upon her face.
A vision formed, a whispered dream,
of little shoes beside a stream.
A gentle touch, a loving hand,
a world she longed to understand.
Someday I'll be a mom, I know it for sure,
Holding a child, behind a closed door.
These feelings inside, they grow and they yearn,
Someday I'll be a mom, a lesson to learn.
