ArtistA surreal, eccentric portrait in a unique illustration style, reminiscent of gothic and Victorian caricature. A woman with exaggerated, elongated features—a very thin neck, ghostly white face makeup, large wide-set eyes, and extremely voluminous, messy dark curly hair styled in an elaborate, whimsical mass—sits regally on an olive-green vintage velvet sofa. She wears an off-white, high-collared Victorian-style dress with ruffled lace accents. In her right hand, held out to the side, she balances a small terracotta pot containing a leafy green plant with pink blossoms. Next to her on the sofa, a fluffy white terrier-like dog sits happily with its tongue out. The background is a detailed, slightly decrepit room with weathered, peeling plaster walls, paneled doors, a small wooden side table holding pottery, a framed painting on the wall depicting a street scene, and a small round mirror. The lighting is soft and even, highlighting the intricate linework and textures of the sketch-like painting. The color palette consists of muted earth tones, soft greens, off-whites, and warm browns, creating a whimsical, bizarre, and slightly melancholic atmosphere.
An oil painting of a pale, gothic-style young woman with very wild, messy black hair tied into two loose buns, large dark-rimmed eyes, and thin red lips. She is wearing a high-collared, long-sleeved Victorian-style white dress with lace ruffles. She is seated on an olive-green tufted sofa with a wooden frame, holding a terracotta pot with blooming pink flowers in her outstretched right hand. Next to her on the right is a small, fluffy white terrier dog with its mouth open and tongue sticking out, looking towards the viewer. The background is an aged, distressed wall with peeling plaster, a framed painting of a street scene on the left, an oval mirror on the right, and a door on the far right.
