fly, watercolor patchwork, wet on wet, splash fast strokes golden accents in the style of Iwona Lifsches, Meghan Duncanson, Daniel Merriam
Macro photography of an insect, a long-legged fly with metallic green and copper coloration on its head and thorax. The fly has large, iridescent green compound eyes reflecting light. Its body is covered in fine greyish-white hairs, especially around the neck and thorax. It has long, slender, dark brown legs that taper delicately, standing on a textured green leaf. The wings are translucent with faint veins, partially extended. The background is a soft-focus, mottled green, creating a shallow depth of field that highlights the intricate details and vibrant colors of the insect.
