The desert's silence, so profound,
Is shattered by a deafening sound,
As lightning strikes the barren ground,
And thunder rolls all around.
The crackling bolts light up the sky,
A dazzling show that catches the eye,
And though it seems the storm is nigh,
It passes quickly, saying goodbye.
The desert air is charged with power,
As the storm clouds begin to cower,
And soon the sky is clear once more,
Leaving behind a parched desert floor.
But in the aftermath of the storm,
A newfound life begins to form,
As raindrops quench the desert's thirst,
And new growth springs forth from the earth.
