A poignant mixed media painting of a young Asian man sitting on the edge of a bed in a Tokyo hotel room, nursing a hangover. Vibrant neon glow from a nighttime Tokyo cityscape bleeds through the sheer curtains, casting soft cyan and magenta light across the room. He wears a rumpled white hotel robe, bare legs visible. Loose watercolour washes, delicate and expressive black ink line-work, textured impasto oil paint touches in the background. Melancholic mood, raw emotion, artistic and expressive brushstrokes, masterwork. Very tiny signature JKW
A watercolour painting of a young East Asian man with black hair, wearing a white bathrobe, sitting on a bed in a hotel room, looking pensive and thoughtful, with his head turned down in profile. The background features a large window with sheer curtains, revealing a blurry cityscape at night with glowing neon lights in shades of blue, pink, and white. The room has textured walls in muted blues and yellows, with a nightstand holding a telephone and a lamp on the right side, and a desk and chair on the left. The lighting is soft, capturing the calm, melancholic mood, with watercolour washes blending across the scene.
