The tour start was just great!
In preparation, we had discussions with the agency, if that "parental advisory" stamp would really be such a good idea - Wouldn't that cause parents to forbid their teens from going to the concert?
We didn't have to use that label. The show presented no violence, no nudity. But the hint by the stamp wasn't totally misleading, either.
"We're not talking to the parents here" the PR guys said.
It turned out that the stamp worked just as they expected: the only measurable effect was a massively increased interest among the teens...
Fans and critics (well, at least the majority of the critics) praised the show, and especially the presentation of the title song. And indeed, it was special...
Before the song, Lea had a bit more audience interaction ("Are you alright?..."), leading to some serious statements about healthy relationships, freedom to live one's kink, and the importance of consent.
Then Caro and Tina came up to her, Caro put the leather collar around her neck, and Tina stuck a piece of black duct tape on her mouth, with a vibrant moth logo on it.
Everything in a very calm and peaceful manner.
The video walls showed her duct taped face in close-up.
Her eyes were smiling.
The other two girls started the extended instrumental intro with synth and drums.
Roadies rolled a kind of elevated dungeon throne onto the stage.
Caro and Tina wrapped leather cuffs around Lea's wrists and Ankles.
They blindfolded her, then led her onto the throne and strapped her down on it.
Then they returned to their guitar and bass, and joined the instrumental intro, while the stage lights stayed focused on Lea.
Finally, as the extended intro came to an end, Caro came back to Lea, removed the duct tape from her mouth, checked her headset microphone, put a soft kiss on her cheek, and went back into her place.
And then, finally, Lea started to sing, blindfolded and strapped to her throne...
It matched the song so perfectly!
A moment that gave you goosebumps.
