"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." - Roald Dahl, 'The Minpins', published in 1991, shortly after Dahl's death in November 1990. It is the author's final work of literature. I grew up in the sterile suburbs except for one marvelous year when we moved into temporary rental housing on the edge of a ravine.
