Helen Keller finished college. She was also an author. The biography of Helen Keller was the first "big girl" book I ever read. On the back of the book were illustrations of sign language with your hands/fingers. I taught myself the sign language. In fact, I remember most of it. I was mesmerized by her. So much so that I would put a blindfold on myself to feel what she felt about being blind. Here is the movie entitled The Miracle Worker. I highly recommend it. The young girl in my Dream is Helen Keller, and the other lady is Anne Sullivan.
