Behold, the Book of Revelations, Chapter 3,
A call to rise, a plea to see,
To churches, seven, the messages sent,
To awaken, revive, and not relent.
To Sardis, the first, a wake-up call,
A name that lives, but strength did fall,
Repent, and strengthen what remains,
Lest death's cold grip, your soul enchains.
Philadelphia, the second, found favor's door,
A faithful church, to shine evermore,
With open doors, none can shut tight,
Blessings poured, in His radiant light.
To Laodicea, the third, a stern rebuke,
Lukewarm and self-sufficient, they mistook,
Buy gold refined, white garments wear,
Anoint your eyes, with heavenly care.
Ephesus, the fourth, once loved Him strong,
But lost their first love, as time prolonged,
Return, repent, and do the deeds,
Or face removal, of lampstand's seeds.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done,
In Pergamum, the fifth, warnings run,
Against false teachings, they must strive,
To conquer and gain, the gift of life.
To Smyrna, the sixth, persecution's fire,
The crown of life, their ultimate desire,
Fear not, be faithful, till death's sting,
Victorious in Christ, forever shall they sing.
And to the angel of the church we see,
These words, a message, for you and me,
Awake, O Church, with ears to hear,
He speaks, His voice, so crystal clear.
Revelations Chapter 3, a call to rise,
To overcome, with faith that flies,
A timeless message, to hearts that heed,
A wake-up call, in our hour of need.
