The seventh trumpet sounded, a herald's cry,
And John saw a vision that caught his eye,
Two witnesses clothed in garments of white,
Proclaiming God's truth, with unwavering might.
For forty-two months, their witness proclaimed,
In sackcloth and fire, their voices untamed,
Foretelling of judgments, calamities dire,
A warning to all, a call to inspire.
No one could harm them, till their time was through,
They were protected, by God's hand true,
But when their mission came to an end,
The beast arose, to make its amend.
The witnesses slain, the world rejoiced,
Their bodies lay lifeless, their voices silenced,
But after three days, a miracle unfolded,
They rose again, as God had foretold it.
A great fear struck those who witnessed the sight,
As God's power displayed its sovereign might,
The witnesses ascended to heaven's abode,
Amidst awe and wonder, the hand of God.
The seventh trumpet faded, the vision passed,
Leaving a message that forever would last,
Of faithful witnesses who stood for the truth,
Upholding God's Word, in their fearless youth.
Revelations Chapter 11, a tale of courage,
Of witnesses who stood against evil's barrage,
A reminder to us, in our own days,
To stand for truth, in all our ways.
