Jedi Master Po was a Jedi before Master Yodas Time because in a battle a Sith cut off both his paws and until that time no Jedi could be a warrior without hands to use the force. But Master Po could move his lightsaber with a Jedi-only ability to use mind force powers and he could use a saber or any weapon with his mind powers Po could also force heal and make people see a fake image from where he was.
