More about Baggage (with poem)

I collected the words as they fell from your mouth,
With great awe at your charm and wit.
That I understood none of your concepts
Mattered not one little bit.

I stored all your words in my knapsack
To later reflect and review.
And in my mind’s eye I hoarded
A beautiful picture of you.

And now, all these many years later,
We’re married. You still shout a bit.
I found my old knapsack in the closet.
Like you, it’s still full of sh*t.
