More about Book of Revelations Chapter 2 Poem

Behold, the Book of Revelations, Chapter 2,
Unfolds the letters, the messages anew.
Seven churches, in distant lands,
Received these words from His divine hands.
To Ephesus, the first He spoke,
Their love had waned, a fire once broke,
Return to the fervor of days of old,
Or lose the light, so precious and bold.
Smyrna, the second, faced affliction dire,
Fear not, be faithful, stay strong in the fire,
A crown of life, the victor's prize,
For those who endure, till the sun doth rise.
Pergamum, the third, dwelt where Satan's throne lay,
Warning of false teachings, leading astray,
Repent and turn from the wicked's ways,
Or face the sword, and its piercing blaze.
Thyatira, the fourth, commended for love,
Yet tolerate not the false prophet's glove,
Hold fast to truth, and the morning star,
To rule the nations, from realms afar.
Sardis, the fifth, appeared alive, yet dead,
Wake up, strengthen, remember what was said,
Not a few, but worthy, shall walk in white,
In the Book of Life, their names in sight.
Philadelphia, the sixth, a faithful flock,
An open door, they shall never block,
Endure with patience, He holds the key,
No one can shut, what He sets free.
Laodicea, the seventh, lukewarm, beware,
Neither hot nor cold, an undesirable air,
Be zealous, repent, open the door,
To sup with Him, forevermore.
Seven letters, timeless and true,
Words of warning, and promises anew,
He who has ears, let him hear His voice,
In Revelations Chapter 2, His message of choice.
