Autumn River Cabin at Sunset

More about Autumn River Cabin at Sunset

An oil painting of a landscape during the autumn season. In the foreground, a turbulent river flows around large, smooth grey rocks. The water is churning, creating white foam as it tumbles over ledges and rapids. Scattered on the rocks are fallen leaves in vibrant shades of red and orange. Several ducks swim in the calmer pools of the river. Along the banks of the river, a dense forest transitions into a display of autumn foliage with trees displaying leaves of yellow, orange, and red, intermixed with dark green evergreens. In the mid-ground, a small, rustic wooden cabin with a water wheel sits on the riverbank, with smoke gently rising from its chimney. The river winds into the distance, leading to rolling hills and mountains under a warm, glowing sunset. The sky is filled with soft, puffy clouds tinged with orange and yellow hues from the setting sun, and a few birds are silhouetted in flight against the sky.
