What is the most gay-friendly Slavic country?
Czech Republic is one of the three predominantly-Slavic countries where same-sex registered partnership is legalized, with the other two being Croatia and Slovenia.
Don’t know much about Serbia, Bosnia, Bulgaria, and Macedonia, but neither of these countries has anything close to legalizing same-sex partnership.
Russia and Belarus have completely gay-unfriendly governments, while in some regions of Russia (like Chechnya, for example), risks of coming out include being killed by a local police.
So, yes, Czech Republic is on the first place. Slovenia holds the solid second. The rest still have plenty of room for improvement.
