** Cheeky Christmas for Cy and JB **

Two sisters sat by the festive tree,
Reading their notes, both full of glee.
Aífe suppressed a laugh at Cy’s claim,
A trickster’s promise, part of the game.

“My darling,” his card began with charm,
“I live to set off your alarm.
But here’s a truce, a peace, I swear,
Let’s meet for lunch, if you dare.
Your Sis and JB, too, will appear,
To join the feast and share the cheer.”

Then Debbie, with a naughty smile,
Opened her letter from JB, full of style:
“My lady fair, my brightest delight,
I tease and challenge, just for the fight.
But don’t be mad, don’t take offense—
You know it’s all in good suspense.”

The sisters exchanged a knowing glance,
Their minds at work with a playful dance:

“If they think they’ve got the upper hand,
We’ll have them running, just as planned.

They think they’ve won, that all is well,
But we’ve got a trick they can’t dispel.
A lunch they promised to set things right,
But we’ll turn it around and keep it light.

When Cy and JB finally show,
They’ll think that peace is all aglow.
But when they sit and take their place,
We’ll serve them lunch—both girls with grace.

They’ll nibble, chuckle, think they’ve won,
But their little plan will come undone.
For what they thought was calm and kind,
Is a plate of mischief, well-designed!”
