More about Counting the Levites - Numbers Chapter 3 Poem

In Numbers Chapter 3, as the tale is told,
The Levites were counted, young and old.
To serve the Lord's tabernacle, their role defined,
Their tasks assigned, their duties aligned.
From Aaron's sons, the priests divine,
To Gershon, Merari, Kohath's line,
The Levites numbered, their roles unique,
Each one appointed, their tasks to seek.
A tribe set apart, a special call,
To serve the Lord, their duty tall.
With reverence and awe, they carried out,
Their sacred tasks, without a doubt.
In Numbers Chapter 3, their names recorded,
Their service honored, their duties awarded.
The Levites counted, a precious treasure,
Serving the Lord, their ultimate measure.
