Five clowns, wearing colorful, slightly tattered costumes, float down a dark, tree-lined suburban street at night. Each clown is suspended by a string from a bright, round balloon, which come in red, yellow, blue, purple, and green. The clowns have white painted faces with rosy cheeks, red noses, and wide, unsettling smiles, along with frizzy orange hair around the edges of their masks. They appear to be walking towards the viewer, casting long, dark shadows on the cracked asphalt road. On either side of the street, old, two-story houses with porches and windows are dimly lit by the streetlights and the ambient glow of the balloons. The streetlights are traditional gas lamp style, emitting a warm yellow light. Large trees with green leaves line the sidewalks, their branches almost touching overhead, creating a tunnel-like effect.
