The Dream Thief of the Manor of Lost Hours. Surreal fantasy concept art. In a Gothic manor with impossible corridors, a distressed young man with blond hair, wearing a dark red jacket, clutches an ancient book to his chest. But the book holds no pages; it is a doorway. Blood-red light spills from it, and tendrils of that same light coil around his torso like living chains. Hovering above him—suspended in mid-air as if gravity did not exist—is a nightmarish figure. This demon, half-man and half-beast, wears a grimacing mask with golden horns and armor of red and black plates. Its claws reach toward the young man, yet its body is partially dissolving into a golden mist. In the background, hooded stone statues weep tears. Style: Surreal digital painting, dramatic lighting, spatial distortion, dreamlike and oppressive atmosphere, rich textures (gold, leather, paper), cinematic composition, masterpiece.
