Geometric patterns are the aberrational abreactions of secondary and tertiary effects of expanding spaces. Much like shadows of a higher planar dimension.
In simple terms, everything is projected as a sphere in three dimensional space, and as things interact with eachother, we get what we think and see as 'shapes'.
Geometric patterns like triangles and squares are the simple 2D shadows of our 3D world. In which our 3D world is but a shadow of the 4D and so on and so forth.
