More about The Spies' Report - Numbers Chapter 13 Poem

Twelve spies were sent, with a daunting task,
To explore the land, their mission unmask.
They saw the giants, and the fertile soil,
But fear took hold, and doubts did coil.
"We are like grasshoppers, in their sight,"
They said with fear, their hearts took flight.
Except for Caleb and Joshua, true,
Who believed in God's promise, through and through.
The spies' report, brought fear to the crowd,
Their faith was shaken, their courage cowed.
They wept and wailed, in deep despair,
Forgetting God's power, His loving care.
Moses and Aaron, fell on their face,
Praying for mercy, seeking God's grace.
Caleb and Joshua, spoke with zeal,
"Trust in the Lord, His faithfulness is real."
But the people's fear, could not be swayed,
Their lack of faith, a choice they made.
God's anger burned, at their unbelief,
Their journey stalled, their dreams in grief.
Numbers Chapter 13, a cautionary tale,
Of faith tested, and fear that can prevail.
To trust in God, with unwavering heart,
And not let fear tear faith apart.
