Winter blues, oh winter blues,
Days so short, nights so long and blue.
Gray skies and chilly winds,
My mood drops and my spirit bends.
I long for warmth and sunny rays,
To banish this gloom that's here to stay.
I dream of green and blooming flowers,
And endless days with endless hours.
But until then, I'll brave the cold,
And find joy in the stories told.
With cozy blankets and hot tea,
I'll wait for spring to set me free.
So, winter blues, you may be strong,
But my heart's resilience will carry on.
For I know that soon the season's through,
And skies of blue will take their cue.
