REFERENCE IMAGES — use them in this exact order: 1. CR-M1 – Morksik — preserve his exact established appearance, proportions, clothing and facial features. 2. The Keeper — preserve her exact established appearance for the older Keeper; use the same facial identity to create her younger version. 3. CR-M17 – Eldren — preserve his exact established appearance, clothing and proportions. 4. CR-M16 – Grimmeldorn — preserve his exact established moss-covered appearance, proportions and red eyes. Create a cinematic 4:3 fantasy storybook illustration inside the ancient underground stone plaza beneath Mistmoor. A large stone arch dominates the scene, filled with mysterious glowing silver light. Beyond the arch is a narrow pale-stone passage illuminated by soft magical light. At the far end stands a massive circular stone door with two visibly different keyholes: one small circular eye-shaped opening and one long narrow keyhole. On the far side of the glowing arch stands the younger Keeper, approximately twenty-three years younger than the Keeper shown in reference image 2. She must unmistakably be the same woman at a younger age, with matching facial structure and recognizable features, not a different character. Give her slightly darker, less-grey hair and a younger face while preserving her identity. She wears practical fantasy travelling clothes and holds a distinctive black metal key clearly visible in one hand. Her expression is suspicious and confused. Beside the younger Keeper stands Vale, a mysterious male fantasy traveller around forty years old. This is a new character with no reference image. He has dark hair beginning to silver at the temples, an intelligent weathered face, dark travelling clothes and a long travelling cloak with the hood lowered. A narrow scar runs beneath his left eye. He holds a small complete silver eye-shaped magical object in one open hand. On the near side of the arch stands Morksik from reference image 1, slightly forward, holding his own complete silver eye-shaped object. Thin subtle strands of silver magical light connect the two silver eyes across the arch. Beside Morksik stands the older Keeper from reference image 2, staring through the arch at her younger self in astonished recognition. Make the age difference unmistakable while keeping both women recognizably the same person. Eldren from reference image 3 stands nearby with his distinctive map partly unfolded, studying Vale and the younger Keeper. Grimmeldorn from reference image 4 stands slightly behind the group, watching cautiously, his moss-covered form and red eyes clearly visible. Keep the composition focused on the extraordinary meeting between the older and younger Keeper, with Morksik and Vale visually connected by their two silver eye-shaped objects. Ancient stone architecture, drifting ground mist, silver reflections, deep mysterious shadows, subtle magical particles. No combat, no modern objects, no additional characters. Realistic painterly fantasy storybook style, highly detailed, natural proportions, expressive faces, soft volumetric silver lighting, cinematic depth and mysterious magical atmosphere. No text, captions, signs, letters or readable writing anywhere in the scene. Small white unicorn emblem with “AI by Unicorngraphics” in the bottom-right corner.

Chapter 37 The Second Door That Remembered the First Part 1 The Keeper Before the Key
The younger Keeper stood beyond the silver arch with the black key resting across her open palm. Nobody spoke. Even Borstel appeared to have misplaced a complaint. The cloaked traveller glanced back at her. “You remember them?” “No,” she replied. Her voice was unmistakably the Keeper’s, only younger. “But apparently they remember me.” The older Keeper stepped forward. “What year is it?” The younger Keeper gave a date. Hopsy lowered her lantern. “That was twenty-three years ago.” “Not for me.” The traveller raised his silver eye. It matched Morksik’s exactly, except that a thin black line crossed its centre. Morksik lifted his own. The two eyes turned toward each other. Archivara’s pages fluttered. MATCH — INCOMPLETE. ORIGIN — SHARED. SECOND DOOR — WAITING. Eldren studied the glowing arch. “Waiting for what?” The traveller looked at Morksik. “For both keys.” The younger Keeper closed her fingers around the black key. “Nobody is having this until someone explains why six stone arches appeared beneath Mistmoor.” Borstel raised one paw. “There are seven.” She looked around. “That is worse.” Behind her stretched a narrow passage of pale stone. At the far end stood another circular door with two keyholes: one shaped like an eye, the other long and narrow. Morksik pointed. “I think we found where your key goes.” “I noticed.” “Then why haven’t you used it?” The traveller answered. “Because the door refuses half an answer.” The older Keeper stared at her younger self. “Where did you find the key?” “In the Ancient Well.” Grimmeldorn’s red eyes brightened. “Impossible.” “Excellent,” Borstel muttered. “Familiar territory.” The younger Keeper continued. “Three nights ago the well stopped reflecting the sky. I lowered a lantern. The light came back black. The next morning this was lying beside the well.” She raised the key. “And beneath it someone had written a message.” “What message?” asked Eldren. The younger Keeper looked at her older self. “DO NOT LET THE FIRST TRAVELLER RETURN.” The plaza seemed to grow colder. Morksik looked toward the sealed First Door. “That would have been useful information several journeys ago.” “We did not know there was a First Traveller,” said Hopsy. The cloaked traveller smiled. “You still don’t.” Morksik studied him. With his hood lowered he appeared perhaps forty, with dark hair streaked silver at the temples and a narrow scar beneath his left eye. Nothing about him was familiar, yet Morksik felt certain he had seen him somewhere. Eldren unfolded his map. “Your face.” Near the Ancient Well was a tiny figure that had never been there before. A dark line marked the same cheek. Archivara wrote: SECOND TRAVELLER — IDENTIFIED. NAME — MISSING. “You have a name?” Borstel asked. “Usually.” “Would you consider sharing it?” The man looked toward the younger Keeper.
