A stylized color cartoon sketch. A bouquet of long stemmed flowers, each individual bloom presents a stylized rendering of its common name. The flower petals and floral structures remain recognizable, but at the center of each bloom is anatomically inspired head of the creature for which the flower is named. (Arisaema consanguineum) - The Himalayan cobra lily bears a cobra formed from its petal, which covers the ovary; (Lilium lancifolium) - the tiger lily has a tiger's head with long whiskers that resemble stamens; (Hymenocallis littoralis) - the white beach spider lily with spider head in center with long chelicerae. Its petals are connected in a circle to form a web-like structure; Koi iris - In the center is the head of a koi, and its scales resemble fish fins and tails; (Strelitizia reginae) - This flower looks like a bird's head with a long beak and a colorful mohawk on its head; (Dracula simia) - and the central monkey orchid features a monkey's head; (Microsorum punctatum) - Added to them are a fishtail fern stem, something that looks like an elongated fish in profile; Each animal's face is unique, stylized, and has its own cheerful, cartoon-like expression. Outline style: quick strokes with a black pencil overlapping one another to emphasize the contours. Fill: colored, warm hues with soft transitions, splashes of color. Skillful, emotional, inspiring, detailed. The background has a delicate pink-and-blue gradient, occasionally filled with simple pencil strokes.
Thank you, Karen G-A, for this inspiration!
