In Genesis, a chapter tells,
Of faithful men, whose stories swell,
The generations that passed by,
Their lives of faith, they testify.
From Adam's line, the record starts,
With names and years, engraved in hearts,
From Adam to Seth, to Enosh too,
And others more, in the list that's true.
They lived and died, a numbered span,
Yet in their days, they walked with God's plan,
They sought His face, in faith and trust,
Their lives a testimony, pure and just.
Enoch, a man, who pleased the Lord,
Walked with Him, in sweet accord,
He did not taste, of death's embrace,
For God took him, to a higher place.
And Noah, found grace in God's sight,
A righteous man, a beacon of light,
He built an ark, by faith's design,
To save his family, from the flood's line.
These faithful men, with hearts ablaze,
In each generation, offered praise,
Their lives a legacy, of faith so strong,
A testament to God's love and long.
In Genesis, their stories told,
Of faith passed down, from young to old,
A heritage, a treasure grand,
Of generations, who loved God's hand.
So let us learn, from their example,
To walk by faith, though trials may rumble,
To leave a legacy, of faith so bright,
And live in God's love, with hearts alight.
