More about Nightmare Queen (monster dialogue in the description)

"She never wanted to be the Nightmare Queen, you know. The Nightmare King, her abusive husband, trapped her there long, long ago, bound her so she could never leave, never wake up.
Now the King is gone, but the Nightmare Realm needs a monarch, needs its Queen. She wants to wake up from the Nightmare, but the Nightmare cannot allow her to leave.
She might have to find a couple of dreamers to help her. People who could walk in the waking world and break the spell from the outside."

"But what about us monsters? Do you really think we can become the Nightmare Republic or something? No, we need some broken snd twisted monarch to hold it all together.
The Queen still mourns the mortal girl who thought of fairies as cute little magical people with butterfly wings, until the night she fell in love with a beautiful young aristocrat in a dream, married him and then found out that her dream was actually our Nightmare. But what would she do in the Waking World, after all the things the King did to her? She got her revenge, eventually.
And now she sits on the bloody throne. This place still scares her, the power she wields here scares her, as it should. Eventually she'll get lonely, make this place look as cute as she can, get some cute dreamer fall in love with her, and then trap them here like she herself was trapped."

"But if we could help her wake up and leave, we could decide who becomes our next monarch! Don't you think that the Nightmare would just keep some random dreamer trapped here and shape them into the next ruler once the Queen was gone? This real wants a ruler, it will find one. And we might find the right dreamer to rule this place and become their most valuable advisors."

"Stop talking, she's looking at us. Don't frighten her more than necessary."
