An exercise in monochrome plus one.
This dream is a reminder for those of us in the path of the new system of big weather heading our way. Tropical storm Debby has slowed down over the Gulf of Mexico's superheated waters and is expected to strengthen to hurricane force before coming ashore. That's the blessing and the curse of hurricane season - ample notice to prepare, but days and nights of anxious uncertainty. Still, we are so much safer with the weather forecasting tools we have now.
Here in the US the conservative Heritage Foundation’s 'Project 2025' plan ("to deconstruct the Administrative State") would break up the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the parent agency for the National Weather Service, describing it as “one of the main drivers of the climate change alarm industry.”
