More about God's Law A Guiding Light - Deuteronomy 4 Poem

Deuteronomy Chapter 4, a treasure trove,
Of God's commandments, from the One above.
Moses spoke to Israel, with words so clear,
God's laws and statutes, for all to revere.
He urged them to listen, to heed God's voice,
To follow His ways and make the right choice.
For God's law was not a burden or a chore,
But a guiding light to lead them evermore.
Moses reminded them of God's wondrous grace,
How He chose them, a special, chosen race.
And how His presence went before their way,
To guide and protect them, both night and day.
He warned them not to turn to idols' snare,
But to worship the Lord with utmost care.
To teach their children God's law and truth,
And pass down the heritage from youth to youth.
For God's law was not meant to be ignored,
But a path to life that should be explored.
A covenant of love, a guiding star,
To lead them close to God, no matter how far.
Deuteronomy Chapter 4, a reminder so grand,
To keep God's commandments close at hand.
To cherish His law, with hearts so true,
And let it guide our lives, me and you.
So let us learn from Israel of old,
To treasure God's law, more precious than gold.
And walk in His ways, with hearts ablaze,
Following His guidance, all of our days.
