Deuteronomy Chapter 13, a warning to heed,
Beware false prophets, whose words mislead.
They may perform signs and wonders, so grand,
But their teachings may lead us from God's command.
God's people were called, to worship Him alone,
To follow His commands, and make His truth known.
But false prophets may come, with lies and deceit,
To turn hearts astray, with a cunning feat.
They may entice with false signs and dreams,
Their teachings may sound convincing, it seems.
But if they lead away from God's true way,
They are not from Him, we must not obey.
For God's word is true, and His commands are clear,
To follow Him faithfully, without any fear.
To hold fast to His truth, and not be swayed,
By false prophets' words, no matter how they're portrayed.
Deuteronomy Chapter 13, a warning so wise,
To discern God's truth, with open eyes.
To test all teachings, against His word,
And follow Him faithfully, as we've heard.
So let us be vigilant, and not be deceived,
By false prophets' tricks, that may be perceived.
But hold fast to God's truth, with hearts so pure,
And worship Him alone, with faith that's sure.
