The Lord's command, Joshua heeds,
A cunning plan to meet their needs.
He laid an ambush in the night,
To take the city by surprise, with might.
A portion fled, the rest pursued,
As Joshua's army valiantly ensued.
The city captured, it was won,
By following God's orders, one by one.
The spoils of war, they did obtain,
As Joshua's faith did truly sustain.
With reverence and unwavering trust,
Joshua led his people, fair and just.
His faithfulness to God's command,
Brought victory to the Promised Land.
So let us learn from Joshua's story,
To follow God's ways, in all their glory.
With courage, faith, and steadfast might,
We too can overcome any fight.
